You will be a confident communicator with excellent copywriting skills and a strong interest in user-centred design. You will be experienced in working collaboratively in an agile environment while also able to work autonomously to tight deadlines. Responsibilities 1. Identify user needs to write and map user and job stories. 2. Create on-brand, engaging, accessible content to meet user needs and business objectives. 3. Work effectively with subject matter experts, stakeholders and partners to ensure content is relevant and accurate. 4. Ensure all content assets are user focused, accurate, optimised appropriately and meet relevant accessibility, design, style and brand guidelines. 5. Website copywriting, including creating navigation copy, microcopy and correct use of metadata, categories and tags. 6. Produce a wide variety of content types for the website, including: a. Information pages b. Marketing copy c. Content marketing copy (including SEO optimised pages, blog posts, etc) d. Call to action content 7. Work with colleagues to understand user behaviours and data patterns to improve performance. 8. Test web content for effectiveness and impact. 9. Monitor and improve content based on feedback, research and data. 10. Review content HTML formatting to ensure compliance and best practice. 11. Supporting the senior content designer to promote user-focused content design across the university. 12. Use the content management system to lay out and optimise content to get the most out of the site templates and design. 13. Edit, manipulate and optimise imagery to suit page designs. 14. Support the successful implementation of the revised web content and information architecture, metadata and personalisation plans for the new website.
