What would you be doing?
As Business Administrator you will work directly alongside the company’s CEO to develop and manage the company’s business systems. Typical activities include:
- Contributing to the development and delivery of the company’s strategic plan;
- Book-keeping and accounts, including sales invoicing and purchasing;
- Helping to ensure that we meet health, safety, fire, product and employment regulations and standards
- Project planning, management, reporting and monitoring;
- Building and maintaining relationships with our suppliers, customers, distributors and research partners;
- Working with colleagues to ensure excellent team communication and collaboration.

Have some relevant work experience and a keen interest in what we do
Possess excellent planning and organisational skills, ideally including knowledge of Agile tools and techniques
Have good familiarity with Office 365 tools; competence with Word and Excel is essential and knowledge of Access would be an advantage
Be a good communicator, with both written and verbal communication skills
Be an adept problem solver who can use their initiative and think on their feet
Be an excellent team player who will contribute to the future development of the business.
What are the practical details?
We are ideally seeking a part-time employee who is available to work for around 15-20 hours, and on most days each week. Working times can be flexible within our 9 to 5, Monday to friday envelope.
Competitive salary in the region of £25k full-time-equivalent pro-rata for part-time) – negotiable, depending on skills and experience.

Start date: We are seeking to identify a suitable candidate by 1st April 2020.
Length of role: Permanent, with six months’ probationary period
