Account Executive

Main responsibilities
As a secondary point of contact to our clients, the Account Executive helps manage designated projects on a day-to-day basis, providing support to our client services team in the smooth administration and production of our projects.

Your main responsibilities would be to:

  • Provide a second point of contact for clients, with an opportunity to progress to running smaller client projects independently (under guidance from an Account Director/Account Manager).
  • Monitor and update project administration and support the client services team with ad hoc admin requests.
  • Assist with the update of the company’s online management information system to help plan and deliver resource across projects.
  • Update timetables in line with key milestones and rebook resource accordingly. Develop an understanding of timetables to enable the creation of first draft timetables.
  • Liaise with registrars to create mail-out questionnaires and manage the distribution of annual reports to shareholders.
  • Update weekly production agendas and attendance at weekly production meetings.
  • Check in client amends and other proofing tasks throughout the proofing process to ensure accuracy, consistency and quality at all stages.

Requirements
For this role, we are looking for a candidate who:

  • has a university degree (this should be English, business or media related) or have relevant and proven experience within a similar industry. Candidates who lack professional qualifications or training should have proof of working in a busy corporate communications/agency/office environment;
  • has a can-do attitude, is organised and is a highly proactive administrator;
  • has an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • is aware of the importance of client/customer relationships;
  • has excellent attention to detail; and is able to work from home in light of current lockdown rules.
