We are looking for an outstanding teacher of BTEC Sport, required due to growth in this highly successful area of the college’s work. As a 16-19 Sixth Form College we can offer an exciting opportunity to specialise in Post 16 delivery of this popular subject. The college is part of Inspire Trust, which also includes Oakwood High School and Sitwell Junior School.
Thomas Rotherham College provides high quality A-level, Applied General and Level 2 courses to over 1400 students. Courses in BTEC Sport achieve excellent results, with Level 3 VA scores for well above national averages for the last 3 years.
The successful candidate will be dedicated to supporting all students that they teach. They will have high expectations and a growth mindset for students and for themselves. Candidates will be able to demonstrate experience of getting the best out of students, both in lessons and through the setting of challenging and engaging independent study.
