Junior Developer - Hessle, Hull
This vacancy has now closed.
Tribal’s mission is to create, build and deliver a range of world class technology based products and services that help our education, learning and training customers deliver excellence.
We are genuinely passionate about improving access to learning and helping to deliver the highest quality education and training. Like many of our clients, we want to feel that our work makes a positive difference.
Tribal is an equal opportunities employer and positively encourages applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital status, or pregnancy and maternity.
Tribal’s vision is to empower the world of education and we make it our mission to provide the software which underpins student success. As a junior developer within our SITS:Vision team you will play a key role in developing a market leading solution which improves higher education institutions globally.
We are currently seeking a junior developer to join our SITS:Vision development team. Whether you are a recent graduate with limited experience looking for your first commercial role or you have already started your software journey, this role will provide a great opportunity to develop your skills within a first class, market leading and globally deployed product.
Whilst the SITS development team is large, you will join one of our smaller agile teams working on focused areas of the product. This will provide lots of opportunity to engage with, and contribute to, the product as an important stakeholder.
Day to day, you’ll clearly see how your input and contribution has a direct effect on our product, with key activities being developing software, translating user requirements in to Agile user stories and then into appropriate design, architecture and technical output, reviewing test plans, providing impact analysis of new features and defect fixes, participating in code quality activities and identifying root causes of defects and spotting trends and patterns.
Our Developers work on market leading, globally deployed products with a range of technical opportunities and challenges. You will also be given the scope to increase your skills and knowledge as we are committed to investing in the learning and development of everyone in our team. To support this mission, every single Developer at Tribal is provided with a full Pluralsight license and time to learn
If you are dedicated to developing good quality, commercially scalable software, and would like to join us in our quest to empower education, we would love to hear from you.
