We invite applications from future graduates who are looking to forge a career within Health & Safety in the food manufacturing sector.

The position is a trainee role, therefore you will not require previous practical experience, however, we are looking for a future graduate with first class communication skills, team player, flexible, approachable with plenty of passion and commitment.

Following a comprehensive introduction to the workplace you will receive support and training in a range of Health & Safety disciplines to enable you to undertake the following duties:
Role responsibilities
• Day-to-day support of all H&S activities.
• Advice to employee(s) to enable compliance to relevant H&S legislation.
• Co-ordination and conducting of risk assessments.
• Safety Inspections and audits.
• Identification, development and delivery of relevant Basic H&S training.
• Carry out Accident investigation with departmental managers
• Deliver induction to new employees
• Facilities Management support to include, Fire alarm testing/recording, Fire equipment inspection/records, Statutory inspections - coordination
Person specification
• Degree in a relevant discipline
• Computer literate
• Organised with excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated, dynamic candidate
• Team player
Location: Leeming Bar, North Yorkshire
