Kick start your career as a Trading Assistant/Administrator in a fast paced Imports business that is growing within an extremely competitive industry. In this role you will gain invaluable experience in the successful delivery of a diverse range of complex yet interesting tasks and projects where time management is crucial in order to achieve the desired outcome.
Role responsibilities
Based in our small yet lively office in Castleford, the role is an excellent opportunity to begin your career as you will play an integral role in managing the critical path of many customer ranging and pricing projects. As well as this, the role demands the successful candidate to coordinate/work in small Trading Admin Team.
In this role you will work closely with our Trading and Sales teams to support the delivery of multi-million-pound projects which link closely to many major UK retailers.
The role will be varied, but key areas of focus will include:
• Acting as a key point of contact for stakeholders and team members
• Data maintenance
• Managing project delivery to a critical path
• Collating quotations from the Trading teams
• Ensuring Internal project governance and compliance is maintained
• Overseeing and leading the Trading Admin Function
• Assisting the Technical Manager with Technical admin
• Running key sales, margin and performance reports on behalf of both trading and technical
• Data analysis and reporting of issues to department manager

Skills & experience
No specific experience is required and we would welcome applications from a range of educational backgrounds. A strong academic record and/or experience working in a commercial environment will stand you in good stead, alongside a thirst for learning and a passion for continued professional development. Good IT skills with specific emphasis on Microsoft Excel is essential.

Salary: £16,000 to £18,000 pa, Dependant on experience
