inFact (www.in-Fact.com) are a leading global developer of secure web-based decision support systems for Public Health. We are based in Shipley in West Yorkshire (12 mins by train from Leeds). Job details:
This is an opportunity to gain experience in supporting a number of different web-based decision support systems for our clients in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. You will be reporting to the Senior Application Support Engineer, who will be on hand to help you acquire the skills required. You will be in direct contact with our users and also our team of software developers, trying in the first instance to solve customer problems yourself but also liaising with the developers when complex issues arise, giving them the information they need to reproduce and solve the problem.
Role responsibilities
Logging of support tickets from emails and telephone calls and following these through to resolution.

Documenting bugs, issues and ideas for development.

Tracking support tickets using dedicated software.

Advising customers on the use of our products.

Writing test scripts and performing end user testing of our products.

Developing and delivering training for our products to our clients, in the UK, the Netherlands and potentially elsewhere in Europe (on site and via computer).
Person specification
Ability to use initiative and work unsupervised.

Lots of enthusiasm with a keen eye for detail.

We seek someone who will have a desire to build up their knowledge around our products, not just in order to provide the best possible support to our clients but also to help develop the software further and build a career with us.
Skills & experience
Previous experience in a Customer Support role is desirable

Excellent written English and a confident telephone manner.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook).

Not essential but a knowledge of a second European language, ideally Dutch, would be helpful.
Degree: Degree: Any degree or relevant experience which proves the ability to communicate well.

Salary: £21K to £27K gross per annum depending on related experience
