We’re looking for a reliable, well organised and motivated Network Manager to join the friendly team based in the main office.

We’re looking for someone with the right qualities and skills to develop into a successful Network Manager. Working in our Networks team you’ll get to know all aspects of the business and play a key part in developing and delivering our network promises to our 1000 + members.

The ideal candidate will be target driven, a self-starter but also a team player. You’ll be good with people, exceptionally well organised and have a sound business mind to make the figures and the budgets stack up.

A knowledge of - and passion for - the social housing sector will be a major advantage for this role.

Role responsibilities
• To be responsible for the effective management of HQN’s Networks (as allocated) and all related events

• Effective management of processes and people in order to ensure that key targets and objectives are met

• To effectively liaise with lead associates, internal and external customers and members of HQN staff on all matters relating to the networks.
Person specification
• Excellent planning and administration skills

• Excellent customer service skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent influencing skills and an ability to forge effective working relationships with members and colleagues across a wide range of disciplines and seniority

• An excellent eye for detail, maintaining quality across all parts of the events operation.
Skills & experience
• IT literate and proficient in Word and Excel

• Knowledge of or an interest in the social housing sector would be advantageous

• Ability to proofread

• Experience in customer service.
Degree: Any related.
