An enthusiastic Research Assistant is sought for this exciting opportunity working in the Pulmonary Vascular Research Group. The group performs internationally recognised work on Pulmonary Hypertension (PH), The post will investigate how damage signalling pathways regulate remodelling of pulmonary blood vessels and whether these pathways could be manipulated to
better treat PH.

Applicants should have a relevant first degree and a high level of enthusiasm for scientific research, with experience in cellular and molecular biology. Relevant technical experience will be an advantage although training will be provided where necessary. You should have excellent communication and organisational skills, be able to work effectively, flexibly, independently and to interact well within a team.

This is a fixed term, full time appointment for 2 years initially, although there may be opportunity to extend for a further 2 years.
