We have a fantastic opportunity for a Production Controller to join our busy Content Management team in Bingley.

As a Production Controller, you will be responsible for the end-to-end production and delivery of an allocated portfolio of titles via production systems, as well as resolving production queries and liaising with colleagues and vendors. The role will involve maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external production stakeholders.
Role responsibilities
Process and ensure content is clean and files are complete and suitable for transmitting to vendors;
Coordinate the production of content via production systems (currently Trackit);
Preparing typesetting and print orders; ensure that files are complete and all instructions to vendors are clear and concise;
Liaise with vendors to quickly resolve production queries, escalating to team for support, as required;
Check files pre-print and pre-publication;
Check and process production invoices;
Provide accurate and regular reports and progress updates for the team, as required.
Business Partner/Subject Matter Expert
Work collectively as a Business Partner or Subject Matter Expert with cross-functional teams to support the successful delivery of products and shared project goals.
Relationship Management
Main point of contact to stakeholders for an allocated portfolio of titles for typesetting, proof checking and publication of content online and in print;
Establish effective internal and external working relationships and provide accurate and regular progress reports for stakeholders to help maintain targets;
Provide production training and support for the team, as required.
Person specification
Computer literate and proficient in the use of standard office software applications;
Advanced organisational, interpersonal, written and verbal skills;
Ability to work to pressured deadlines;

Salary: £17,500 to £23,500 pa
