Due to continued growth, we are looking to add additional (full-time) consultants to our team. We employ people from a range of backgrounds, so whilst there are no specific requirements in terms of qualifications or experience, we are looking to recruit only those that demonstrate commitment and a willingness to succeed. For us, having the right qualities and attitude supersedes previous experience in recruitment or sales.
Role responsibilities
The role is extremely fast paced and very varied.

The most successful recruiters are part salesman, career counsellor, consultant, advisor, fact finder, archaeologist, and “shrink”. They are balanced in their advice. They present both sides of the story, ask candidates a multitude of questions geared directly toward their professional needs and wants, and work to build relationships based on trust with candidates. This is something that takes time and commitment.

Key role responsibilities:

• Gaining an in-depth understanding of the primary care market, within the UK
• Registering candidates
• Generating new business
• Maintaining existing client relationships
• Providing advice and guidance to candidates on a range of different positions
• Creating candidate profile documents
• Interview advice and preparation for candidates and clients
• Interview feedback for candidates and clients
• Negotiating job offers
• Providing on-boarding support to candidates and clients

Our niche focus on primary care allows our consultants to become experts in their field. You’ll benefit from inheriting a ‘warm’ territory with healthy amount of existing business. The position will involve being personally mentored by one of the Directors; you will not receive this level of support and expertise in most recruitment companies. Because you’ll be working closely with the owners of the business, if you’re good at what you do, it will be noticed far more quickly than if you worked for a large corporate firm; meaning that you are able to progress and achieve your goals within shorter time-frames.

The candidates and clients that we work with are well-educated, articulate and aged 28 years (age at which GPs qualify) and above (for the most part). Therefore, it is essential that you have confidence and are able to communicate at a high level, in order to influence and persuade people of this standing.

Degree: Whilst you will be a graduate, the position is open to all degree disciplines, and your academic qualifications are much less relevant than your personal qualities.
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Salary: Those new to the profession would be expected to earn OTE of £32,500+ as a minimum in year one. We’d expect those with experience to be earning £50,000+ in year one.
