In the lively and competitive clearance market, Pricecheck has long established relationships with many major manufacturers and brand owners, sourcing quality product which we then sell on to a range of different outlets. We are traders – we buy and sell quality product, whilst understanding the market and getting to know exactly what our customers want. This simple and driven approach has seen us develop trade in over 75 countries as we continue to explore new categories, markets and territories.

We buy thousands of product lines from hundreds of suppliers – we never know where the next deal will take us, making for a fast paced, ever changing and exciting place to work and we’re on the lookout for graduates to join our team.
Ultimately, you’ll be matching the right products to the right customers, for the right price.
You will be working alongside an International Account Manager and working together on your joint territory to generate business and increase turnover. Rather than a static product list and one prescribed way of selling, you are encouraged to use your individual approach and commercial awareness to adapt to the situation, meaning no two days are ever the same. You could be researching new international markets and targeting specific territories, to representing Pricecheck at one of the many trade shows we visit during the year. You will assist in the preparation for key meetings and international trips, and be the office based point of contact for your customers.
• Representing Pricecheck at trade shows, in the UK and overseas. Opportunities to travel abroad with Sales Executives utilising any languages candidates possess.
• Territory & sector development projects aimed at generating new leads and increasing the number of customers
• Managing key accounts; in terms of sales meeting preparation and handling customer requests
• Managing correspondence between the International Account Manager and customers
• Administrating and populating data into our customer relationship database
• Product placement of our 2,000 FMCG lines to various customers
In order to succeed, you will show versatility and awareness of how to read a situation – you will be a true ‘plate spinner’ and thrive in a busy environment where your time management skills and multi-tasking ability will help you succeed. Your internal and external communications will demonstrate confidence and professionalism, all underpinned by business acumen and a friendly approach.
|Skills & experience||
With so much going on, you need to be sharp, smart with an eagerness to learn – we ask for a minimum of a 2:1 degree in any discipline with strong A levels (or the associated equivalent). However, we look for more than just academic achievements of our team. Show us that you have entrepreneurial spirit, an interest in trading and a passion for sales - we would love to hear more from you.
You must be able to operate strategically and think analytically – each deal you make will be underpinned by a combination of commercial understanding and customer requirement. You will see the importance of attention to detail, yet awareness for the bigger picture.
As we trade internationally, we’re keen to hear from people who have language skills or experience of living and working overseas but these are not essential.
