As a Trainee Technical Services Consultant, you will quickly play an important role in supporting some of the world’s finest higher education institutions by providing first class technical support and consultancy.
The Trainee Technical Services Consultant role provides a supported pathway for you to develop all of the skills, knowledge and expertise to quickly become value add key members of our Technical Services team, supporting the delivery of our software and services to Higher Education clients.
You will begin by establishing a strong technical expertise of both Tribal’s SITS:Vision product and supporting technologies and infrastructure. This technical expertise will then be coupled with a sound understanding of customer requirements, enabling you to provide the best possible technical consultancy.
Core activities of this role will be installation, maintenance, configuration and upgrade activities associated with SITS:Vision, delivered both onsite and remotely to our Higher Education customers.
In this role there will be lots of opportunity to travel and to meet new people as you will regularly attend customer sites to develop relationships, understand requirements and provide technical support.
There will be lots to learn with this role, and we will help you all of the way. You will benefit from in-house training, coaching and mentoring and you will also study for the Junior Management Consulting Level 4 Apprenticeship Programme. This two-year programme has been developed by some of the UK’s top consultancy organisations including PwC, Deloitte and KPMG. You will also benefit from access to focused technical training to ensure that you have a sound knowledge of the key tools required to support delivery.
Upon completion of the 2-year apprenticeship, this role really does open the door to a number of potential long-term career trajectories. We hope to see individuals progressing from the Technical Services Consultant aprenticeship into our wider Professional Services team, where roles and responsibilities range from developing deep technical expertise to leading multimillion pound implementation projects, potentially around the globe.

First and foremost, this role has a strong technical focus and so, whilst it isn’t essential to have worked in a similar role previously, it is essential that you have a passion and talent for technology, a keen attention to detail and a dedication to supporting customers by proactively trouble shooting and problem solving.

|Degree:||Candidates would ideally have a minimum of 3 A-Levels and a desire to grow a career in tech.|
