We have an exciting opportunity for a Books Commercial Administrator to join our Books Commercial Team in Bingley.
The Books Commercial Administrator will work closely with the Books Commercial Team to assist in the management of our regional print agents, key customers, and regional sales teams - helping our global sales grow.
Undertaking administrative tasks for the Books Commercial Team is an essential part of the role, including but not limited to account maintenance, report creation and research projects. You will also be responsible for special sales, returns, subscriptions, systems training, and Emerald’s textbook adoption system.

Supporting the Books Account Manager with management of the print agent portfolio.
Working with the Books Commercial Team to understand books strategy and priorities.
Working with our distributor to ensure they have the most up to date customer information.
Preparing and sending advanced information grids and product lists to our key customers and agents.
Preparing reports and sales information ahead of internal and external meetings.
Assisting in preparation for key Book Fairs and events.
Utilizing internal and external reporting systems to provide accurate sales reports, activity reports, and monitor account performance and sales.
Providing training on internal and external systems to colleagues throughout the business, including CRM and SAP.
Management of Emerald’s textbook adoptions request system.
Carrying out research for the Books Commercial Team, including customer sales leads and profiling potential customers.
Developing sales proposals and processing sales agreements for the Books Commercial and Commercial Operations Team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a good level of English spelling and grammar.
Proficient at proof-reading, with a good eye for detail.
Ability to multi-task.
