Reporting into the IT Manager, you will be part of the team supporting a busy trading business and assisting in the development of ongoing technologies.
Whilst there is no thing as a typical day, your duties will range from supporting users and maintaining established systems, to developing new programmes and helping to build new business solutions. You will be confident in designing and updating SQL reports and work closely with the IT Manager to enhance bespoke systems using Microsoft and IOS technologies. You will learn the skills to identify where technology can enhance rather than restrict a business and work through the build, test and implementation phases of IT related projects. You will be a confident communicator and work with clarity, with the tenacity to see activity through to timely completion. You will be an organised and logical thinker, operating at pace and under pressure, whilst not sacrificing quality, accuracy and customer service. You will see the importance of attention to detail, yet awareness for the bigger picture and be keen to understand how business works in practice.
|Skills & experience||
Whilst there will be plenty of training available and scope for self-development, knowledge and experience in HTML, CSS, Java Script, SSIS/SRS/SSAS, Objective C or Swift, PHP, Active Directory and Photoshop would be desirable.
