Morrisons Manufacturing Graduate Scheme - Yorkshire and Nationwide
Morrisons offers you the chance to be part of a different kind of retail business. Whether you’re a school leaver, student or graduate, our early careers give you a unique perspective, real responsibility and tons of valuable experience.
You see, unlike our competitors, we own most of our own supply chain. We’re both food makers and shopkeepers, home to diverse teams that create success together. That means you’ll find an amazing scope for learning here.
We’ve a real variety of paths to choose from, each giving you a brilliant head start. But wherever your journey takes you, you’ll find all the support you need to thrive in your career. Because together, we all make Morrisons.
At Morrisons, we give hard-working graduates the chance to be part of a different kind of retailer. Unlike our competitors, we own most of our own supply chain. In fact, we make 60% of our fresh food in-house and we’re the UK’s 2nd largest fresh food manufacturer. So you’ll find our Manufacturing Graduate Scheme offers you an exceptional training experience at the heart of our business.
Made for graduates who
can make success happen.
What you’ll be doing
We’re home to 17 sites producing everything from bread, fish and meat to flowers, veg and salad. Over 12 months, you’ll work at many of these locations – developing leadership skills, working on live projects and helping to improve our processes. You’ll also spend time in a store to learn how manufacturing influences the customer experience. Before you know it, you’ll be leading up to 50 people as a frontline team manager.
What you’ll need to join us
Along with a minimum 2:1 degree, you’ll need a passion for product development and food quality and safety. We’ll expect you move around the country growing your skills in different sites – so a full UK driving licence is a must. Always looking to do things better, you can think quickly on your feet and solve problems fast. What’s more, you’re a great communicator who can build strong working relationships.
