In the lively and competitive clearance market, Pricecheck has long established relationships with many major manufacturers and brand owners, sourcing quality product which we then sell on to a range of different outlets. We are traders – we buy and sell quality product, whilst understanding the market and getting to know exactly what our customers want. This simple and driven approach has seen us develop trade in over 75 countries as we continue to explore new categories, markets and territories.

We buy thousands of product lines from hundreds of suppliers – we never know where the next deal will take us, making for a fast paced, ever changing and exciting place to work and we’re on the lookout for graduates to join our team.
As our Marketing Assistant, you will work across all areas of our marketing function, contributing to the overall brand, image and tone of Pricecheck. Supporting our Marketing and Communications Manager to execute the marketing strategy, you will be involved in communications throughout the business, both internally and externally.
You will take responsibility for our social media presence, being able to identify the current online trends and maximise opportunities over the various platforms, having a strong understanding of the benefits and audiences of each one in turn. You will liaise with external companies in relation to branded marketing materials, our charitable partners and help to co-ordinate and organise our presence at various trade shows, both overseas and here in the UK. You’ll also be a key contact for administrative queries within the team.
Given how varied the role is, you will thrive in a dynamic and ever changing environment, be a natural multi-tasker and show initiative. You will think creatively yet commercially, working to deadlines and confident in making thoughtful suggestions. You will enjoy working with many people across lots of different departments, and be eager to develop yourself and push the business forward.
|Skills & experience||
You will be a strong and fluent writer, with a proven track record in tailoring copy for different audiences, while remaining true to the established Pricecheck tone. You will have a keen eye for detail and be passionate about business, with a ‘can do’ attitude and exceptional organisation skills. You will also be a confident communicator and ambitious, with a willingness to learn.
You will have had prior experience in a comparable role, either full-time or through a placement opportunity or volunteering. As we trade internationally, we’re keen to hear from people who have language skills or experience of living and working overseas, but these are not essential.
|Degree:||With so much going on, you need to be sharp, bright and smart with an eagerness to learn – we ask for a minimum of a 2:1 degree in a Marketing or PR related degree with strong A levels (or the associated equivalent) and a grade B or above in English at GCSE. However, we look for more than just academic achievements of our team.
