The role appeals to people who want to make full use of their knowledge and competencies to ensure that medicines are used safely and effectively by the patients for whom they are prescribed.
Role responsibilities
As part of a friendly and professional team, you will take responsibility for providing technical, factual information about medicines, primarily by telephone, in response to enquiries from healthcare professionals and the general public.

You will need to research some enquiries in standard textbooks and online, and provide responses verbally and in writing.
Person specification
If you are a good communicator with a strong science background, then pharmaceutical medical information is likely to offer everything you are looking for in a career.
Skills & experience
You will have:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills.
- The ability to work under pressure as an effective member of your team.
Degree: A life sciences degree or equivalent. The current team at Professional Information includes a broad mix of BScs, MScs, PhDs and nurses.

Salary: Dependent on experience
