If you are a good communicator with a science background who would like to play a role in helping patients to use their medicines safely and effectively, then a career as an Information Adviser within our PharmaCall division will appeal to you.
Professional Information Limited is the UK’s leading Medical Information service provider. We currently work with over 70 pharmaceutical companies, answering questions from doctors, pharmacists, nurses and patients about more than 750 different medicines. PharmaCall is a division of Professional Information which provides high quality Help Line support to patients who feel they need more information or clarifications about their medicines. As a PharmaCall Information Adviser, you will typically handle about 20 calls each day from patients.
Job primary duties:
As part of a friendly and professional team, you will take responsibility for answering patient help line questions on a specific group of products. The responses you provide will generally be covered by pre-existing standard response documents. Full training and management support will be provided to enable you to rapidly develop the skills of an effective Information Adviser.
Essential skills and experience:
- Excellent communication skills, particularly a pleasant telephone manner.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise and work well under pressure.
- Good interpersonal and team working skills.
- Computer literate.
Hours of work vary according to a rota between 8.30 am and 7.00 pm, Monday to Friday. You will also be required to participate in the on-call rota which involves handling calls from your home outside of office hours.
|Degree:||A nursing qualification, life sciences degree or equivalent.|
